The Broken Road
Who is to blame for your brokenness?
Lost Direction
Lost Dreams
Lost Time
What have you lost in life?
Our life is full of brokenness — broken relationships, broken promises, broken expectations. How can we live with that brokenness without becoming bitter and resentful except by returning again and again to God's faithful presence in our lives.
Psalm 34:18 — The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Brokenness is often the road to breakthrough. Be encouraged.

The Road to Damascus
Acts 9
1 In Jerusalem Saul was still trying to frighten the followers of the Lord by saying he would kill them. So he went to the high priest
2 and asked him to write letters to the synagogues in the city of Damascus. Saul wanted the high priest to give him the authority to find people in Damascus who were followers of Christ’s Way. If he found any there, men or women, he would arrest them and bring them back to Jerusalem.
3 So Saul went to Damascus. As he came near the city, a bright light from heaven suddenly flashed around him.
4 Saul fell to the ground. He heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul! Why are you doing things against me?”
5 Saul said, “Who are you, Lord?”
The voice answered, “I am Jesus. I am the One you are trying to hurt.
The Road to Ephesus
Acts 19
1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples
2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied.
4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
The Road to Emmaus
Luke 24
13 That same day two of Jesus’ followers were walking to the village of Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem.
14 As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened.
15 As they talked and discussed these things, Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them.
17 He asked them, “What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” They stopped short, sadness written across their faces.
21 We had hoped he was the Messiah who had come to rescue Israel. This all happened three days ago.
The Road To Ephrath
Genesis 48:7 — “Long ago, as I was returning from Paddan-aram, Rachel died in the land of Canaan. We were still on the way, some distance from Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem). So with great sorrow I buried her there beside the road to Ephrath.”
What is trying to stop you?
The Road To Eternal Life
Matthew 7
13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
